I was at the place for 27 in June of 2024. It’s pretty bad. I’ve been to 3 rehabs and this was by far the worst one. I’m actually sober now but got that way 3 months after leaving white light. I was there for alcohol and complained about hallucinations for 2 days only to be ignored and ended up seizing out and had to be taken to the hospital and almost died. They couldn’t get me to snap out of my delirium tremens. White light was then worried I would sue them and called the hospital offering to bring me McDonald’s. I went back to white light after leaving the hospital because they had all my money, phone and clothes. It’s disorganized, people bouncing back and forth between there half way houses and the rehab because they keep getting drunk and high but never actually get kicked out of the program. The only way someone gets kicked out is if there Insurance cuts them off and the patient is then immediately kicked out with no care or after thought. It took me days to get them to give me my stuff so I could leave. They will lie constantly about everything. There where patients having sex with each other and staff knew it. Food is horrible and there is not enough of it. The snacks consisted of breakfast bars and crackers. Constantly out of milk even tho we where forced to eat cereal 4 days a week with no hot option for breakfast. The place is dirty, there are only 3 places to shower despite the number of people they take on. The toilets are disgusting and often stopped up. Don’t believe a word they tell you on the phone. No real weight room, no trails, you don’t get your phone. The place is not nice, it’s a dump. The staff tries but the place is just a cash cow for investors and that’s all that truly matters . How does a person go to rehab and lose weight . If a person really wants or needs to leave the only way to get out with your belongings is to call the police. They will eventually give you your stuff without all that but it will take 4 or 5 days. I was there 27 days not counting 4 in a hospital and it was like pulling teeth getting out of there. It’s a racket. Please don’t go to this place. I know I’m rambling but thinking of this place makes me feel anxious and it’s truly a horrible experience. Unless maybe your homeless and don’t mind to be held against your will in exchange for a place to lay your head.

Wish 0 stars was an option. This place is terrible. Understaffed. The caseworker lied to my face about receiving a call, I didn’t have one until day 6 and then she’s manipulative, lying, whines to group about her daughter cutting her off and being “crazy”? Unprofessional but her license is a month old, so not shocking. Staff won’t get your belongings or let you leave until they’re “done” so good luck trying to leave- they will put you on the street as AMA even though a girl has gone missing from this and they agree its not safe. Change that maybe? You’ll have any staff drive 5 hours for pickup then good luck going home if you leave before they agree. They make so much money per day, why would they let you go? If you skip groups they’ll push you out faster though. You have to be demanding or staff will say “yeah let me talk to someone” then never do it. They care so much about keeping patients- they had a guy throwing chairs and harassing clients and staff, and put him in sober housing where he dragged a girl out with him. They don’t care. I was told “well..you’re a pretty girl” By men and women staffed there when I said I didn’t feel safe. They lie on the third party phone intake, shady company. There is no gym, it’s a laundry room with broken equipment. A stationary bike with *no seat? Two dirty mats? Nurses were good but overworked. Tubercolis worry on day 4 because they don’t blood test on entry. Wild since they know so many are homeless and high risk. so understaffed you see a therapist only if one is hired currently. Or not bc they don’t have any. Truly a horrible place with just a few good employees, filthy, gnats, not enough towels or utensils, runny soap, co ed showers, rules vary based on who is working, weren’t allowed outside to use the hoop unless monitored (low staff so if you’re lucky), signs that people are using on the patio, if you get a bad staff member like Gloria they’ll lie to you even though it’s illegal. Wouldn’t send an enemy here let alone anyone I care about.

Place doesn’t make no sense. Long strenuous groups all day long. Even on Saturday’s and holidays like where is the me time? Very unorganized like don’t nobody never know nothing when questions are asked. I feel like this place doesn’t care about the clients. I wouldn’t recommend this place to nobody that’s trying to save their life from addiction because this is not the place that will save your life. You’re more likely to say f-this place and leave to get high in the middle of a group. Than stay and get some recovery. It will make you that mad.🤬😡😤😤😤😤
Coming to this place was the worst decision I ever made ever worst the picking up drugs for the first time. This ain’t it y’all
If you really want to save your life and stop using don’t come here!!!!!
Big facts 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

The groups and professional staff were mostly good but the place is poorly run, disorganized, and inconsistent with their answers to any questions. More importantly, if a drug screen comes up positive they immediately make you leave or go back to residential before waiting for the lab results to return a couple days later which has been proven to reveal false positive on the initial urine screens. People are literally made to admit that they used, even if they didn't, in order to stay in the program and return to residential, otherwise they have to leave. I fought a false positive on a urine screen and won and I wouldn't and couldn't admit to using when I knew I didn't. Certain meds can cause false positives. Then later they kicked me out for benzos which were showing up since my very first week there, but they decided to use it against me when I was only a few days from graduating php. I went to a hospital on my way home and got another drug test which showed everything as negative. Again, certain meds, prescribed and even otc, can cause false positives. Their lab sucks and the way they handle it sucks, the management and administration are rude and don't really care to help and look into what can cause false positives. DON'T GO HERE AND IF YOU DO BEWARE THAT MANY FALSE POSITIVES APPEAR ON THEIR DRUG SCREENS AND I HAVE THE PROOF TO PROVE IT AND THEY WON'T WORK WITH YOU ON IT OR WAIT FOR LAB RESULTS OR LOOK INTO OTHER MEDS THAT CAN CAUSE FALSE POSITIVES

I left White Light 10 months ago. My experience there was interesting. I cannot complain. I went there with a goal of restarting my life and that is exactly what has happened for me. Of course, there were some things that happened there, but you cannot control the behavior of others - you have to focus on you. If you go there and focus on your own sobriety, you will succeed. My case worker, Crystal Lamb and my therapist Tisier, those ladies were amazing. They did everything in their power to ensure I received the best care I possibly could and made sure my goals were fulfilled. They kept me on
track. These ladies spoke life into me and gave me hope for a brighter and better future alcohol free. To date, I am putting the pieces of my life back together, and I have White Light to thank for my new and continued sobriety. Just remember, this is not the the be all and end all to maintaining an alcohol and drug free life - It's just the beginning. Work with your team and ensure you get continued help for your after care when you leave the facility. Ensure you get a sponsor as well.

Thank you to my team at White Light for helping me overcome the first step.

Great facility and amazing amenities! Snacks/water/juice available 24/7. Private detox rooms (some are shared). Provides complimentary hygiene, rolled cigarettes, and donated clothing. Roku TVs in every room— many with streaming services already signed in. Decent showers. Handicap accessible throughout. The only criticisms I have is that they did not disclose all the things one would have been able to bring with them [you can pretty much order grocery/retail deliveries like commissary] and that they try to basically force people (especially those they can threaten with notification to POs) to continue with their STR and PHP even if it was stated during the initial intake assessment detoxification was the only service needed. No assistance was given if trying to transfer to different program on a planned basis— not even AMA.

This place gave me PTSD and there was black mold in the houses. They also don't give a shit about your well-being. They didn't feed us or let us have jobs so we can get food. It was a badly run shitshow. 0/10

AD and key were the only people who really cared. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING.

About to finish my time here at White Light, and it has been a great learning experience. Instead of distracting you with exotic activities, they focus on getting to the root of your addiction and treating it as needed. Excellent group therapy everyday and one on one counseling as well. I would recommend this facility for anyone who is serious about getting sober or even if you are on the fence. They are very informative and understanding of the issues involved with addiction. All things considered, I’m glad I came and stayed here and I’m looking forward to turning my life around moving forward. Thank you to all the staff here at White Light, and especially to my case manager Crystal Lamb!
