Though here 15 minutes early....it is now an hour and a half waiting for NP
Check in excellent ppd placement excellent.
Waiting for np rediculous rude and completely unacceptable....if I treated my clients with this diregard I would not have a business.

Clark is a godsend here and deserves a raise. He is incredibly helpful, patient, kind, resourceful and knowledgeable. I hope someone snatches him up to work for their company.

The staff is great, and waiting is minimal however after all my information was collected there was very little they could do for me. I don't need to use their computers, I have one at home. The biggest help was provided to me regarding my resume. The agent was very helpful in pointing out what was wrong with my resume and what I need to change. But after that there was nothing else there for me. Still I would recommend this place to anyone serious about job searches and preparations. As there are some work classes available for those who could benefit from going over the very basics of resume building, networking and interviews.

This place is a joke . They computers seem to be messing up everyday . I have had bad experience since day one with Rochester works . I tried to join the Seafarer International Union my work advisor Tom Chillburt tried to get me persuade Siu to get themeselves accredited by New York DOL so they could recieve New York accreditation. Who on earth has THEIR client explain to a union how to get accredited by Department of Labor for New york. Made me look bad to the union I am trying to join . This is a discouragement for all of us in low income bracket trying to get ahead. the few work force center in our city completey falling apart literally and metaphorically. I do not recommend Rochester works unless your on unemployment and they have been known to give funding then take it away at the last moment . THIS non-profit needs alot of improvement. This was very discouraging.

I don't like the fact that when I call they don't return my call. I called for a week in half every other day. I finally was upset enough to go down there to try to be seen, but I was told that I would have to make appt and some one will call me, that was two days ago and no call. If I can't get a appointment by the first of the week, I could be evict. I am on social security disability, so I need to see the ticket to work specialist. S.S.Disability only pays 800 dollars and I need a job fast after just having a new baby. This really is unacceptable and there is no other place that can help so they know you have no choice.

While the staff has a friendly disposition, the biggest problem at this location is that one person follows the rules and then another does not on staff. It is only when it is convenient for them. I do not have time for constant run around with things that take up MY TIME while I AM THE ONE LOOKING FOR A JOB. This is not a organized and efficient way for each person to be dealt with on a one-on-one basis. This is a center that is supposed to make things easier for the people that come to use the computers and services so that they can get back into the workforce. NOT CREATE OBSTACLES! I asked to speak to the manager about services and I was told that the manager of this location may be busy at this time. If you are a center that is concerned with the services that your local residents are receiving, then you have time to listen to the concerns of those people so that you can make adjustments to the function of your office. NOT LET YOUR CUSTOMERS CONTINUE TO ENCOUNTER THE SAME PROBLEMS!!!!!!
