I’ve been to the Shaker Lakes Nature center many times in my lifetime. This is my second birthday party and it was absolutely amazing! They kids walked, explored, climbed and went on a scavenger hunt in throughout the forestry. The guide was amazing very engaging with kids. The party room was great space for the kiddos!

We found this park on our way to somewhere else and we really enjoyed ourselves. Very nicely laid out. It was sprinkling that day but still glad we found it. Definitely want to return in the springtime.

Dogs only allowed on Upper Rim Trail so that’s a little disappointing. Trails are really short. Easy to walk. Pretty. Would love if it was bigger.

This is a really neat park, especially in the fall and while it's raining.

The multiple wooden boardwalks offer a great view of the surrounding trees, and you cross over water many times. If you go during or after a lot of rain, Doan Brook which runs through the park has a pretty good flow. The trails are well-marked, for the most part.

I'm from the west side and don't often Venture into shaker, but I'm glad I stopped here on a whim because I had some time to kill, and it was completely empty. I didn't make it to the actual lake - that'll have to be on my next trip.
