Edit: for the privacy of the child, I wrote this review on behalf of someone else very close to me. But this is not my child we are speaking of. As far as your reply, I appreciate you taking the time to address this issue over Google however, you are not committed to operating within the guidelines of the law and it is very apparent, considering you’re continue to see the child without parental consent.

It is beyond me that these people even hold licenses let alone degrees. In Idaho, if parents have joint legal custody, both must consent to medical decisions involving a minor child. When decision-making responsibilities regarding the child’s health, education, and general welfare are joint between two parents (an arrangement that ensures that both parents have an equal say and/or involvement in things detrimental to the child’s wellbeing) you would THINK that a mental health “professional” would abide by these laws. (Ref Idaho Code § 32-717B). These secret bi-weekly therapy sessions wouldn’t be as concerning if the child involved was thriving and getting the tools they need under the care of the therapist. But the harm that has been done by the amount of malpractice is significant, and I will not be sitting quietly about this issue.

Parents… RUN. find ANYONE else. There are a number of fantastic WONDERFUL mental health professionals in the area and I encourage you to do your own research.

Firstly; Jason is either not very good at his job or straight up lies to his clients faces. He misdiagnosed me; told me one thing to my face then reported something completely different to my PCP. He even admitted that women get misdiagnosed all the time, and then does it. So if you’re female, stick to a female therapist.
Secondly; at my second visit I asked Ashley to check if my insurance would cover these visits or if I would need to pay & she says she looked & everything was fine & covered by my insurance. A month in, going weekly to the clinic, I get slapped with a hefty bill. So she either doesn’t know what she is talking about, or just lies to clients faces because she can’t admit she doesn’t know. So check your insurance yourself because they definitely don’t know what they’re doing. But they know how to bill 🙄
Save your money, go elsewhere.

I have had nothing but great experiences here, I adore my therapist Barbara! She genuinely cares and asks questions and works with me to resolve issues. I’m starting EMDR with her very soon and she has made the process and explained everything graciously.

I love this place, the staff really care. When it comes to mental illness, it is very difficult to please everyone (As evidenced by a couple of bad reviews) From my experience, I have found that the therapists and the behind the scenes staff want only the best for the patients. They will go the extra mile.
The owner of this business "Kelly" is especially accommodating. she will work tirelessly to help those in need. If there are issues they will work to resolve them. I would much rather come to this place then some big organization.
