Homebase is a disaster for businesses. For two years, we dealt with glitches, broken features, and empty promises that our issues would be fixed. Instead, they ignored us, strung us along, and ultimately terminated our account without explanation—clear retaliation for holding them accountable.

Instead of resolving the issue, their Co-Founder Rushi Patel personally called to say they were cutting us off, claiming they "couldn’t meet our expectations." Our expectation? That their platform work as advertised.

Homebase is unreliable, dismissive, and unprofessional. They take your money, ignore major system failures, and discard paying customers when they demand accountability. Save yourself the headache, find a better solution!

I am beyond frustrated with this company, their lack of customer service, their inaccurate and inadequate systems, etc, etc. etc. Their payroll system is a nightmare and does not accurately roll into QuickBooks, prompting my CPA to start charging me $1200 a year more to fix it himself. The payroll reports don't match the DE9's.... I could go on with my long list of other issues I have with their people and the other aspects of their platform, but I've wasted enough time with them already!

Horrible. We had a fraudulent payroll that needed to be reversed and we were and are, stuck in call center hell. They refuse to escalate our problem to a person with a last name or company phone number. My controller is at her wit's end. Our problem is unresolved after 10 days.

This company should NOT get into the world of Payroll. They know nothing about payroll and is absolutely terrible at it. I won’t recommend this company — try another. Don’t let the convenience fool you. After multiple calls and wire transfers to get payroll in time, they’ve failed to do their own job - pay my people on time.

In the beginning this company was fine and helped me with a few things. But after a while they weren't helpful and I attempted to cancel my account. Long story short I've requested a cancelation of my account 4 times. I had reps "CLAIM" my entire account was canceled twice, once I couldn't even login after the cancelation, and then I never received a response after my request 2 times. Don't deal with this BS company!

This company has caused me hours of needless work and the customer service people cannot help. While it is not the reps fault it is very frustrating. We have spent hours trying to get a simple time clock issue corrected. They nickel and dime you for everything as you go. The payroll service is way more expensive than other companies that we found.

I would avoid this company. We had nothing but problems getting our simple use of a time clock worked out. The payroll fees are too high. We found several options for less cost. Do your homework!
