Dr. Karin is the BEST! I've seen quite a few doctors over the years but I have never had a doctor as conscientious as Dr. Duncan. So grateful to find this place. Dr. Mia and the office staff are some of the best. I completed my treatment plan with Dr. Mia last year, and since she is no longer a provider at CDA Healing Arts, I had my check up at my other doctors office. My results just came back and all of my tests came back normal thanks to Dr. Mia. I can’t even begin to explain how relieved I am, and how grateful I am to have received such quality care.

My son was struggling with regular stomach upset and vomiting for years. We went to many pediatricians who only wanted to treat symptoms, not find the root of the problem. At our first appointment Dr. Peterson spent over an hour with us discussing all of my son's issues and came up with an excellent game plan. After six months of following Dr. Peterson's protocols he was like a new kid. He felt so much better, was sleeping well and had much more energy. It has been four years now and he is still doing great. We have to change things up every so often, but Dr. Peterson always has great insight and new ways to help. He has changed our lives for the better and we are so thankful for him.

By age three I had a shadowy fear of doctors, those who came with black bags when you were feverish, and those or cut your throat at the “bittlechopper.” After which we kids were raised basically not to complain, “get over it.” Nevertheless, the human condition requires more healing than that mind over matter practice can always accomplish. And so I studied up on healthy living practices as an adult and have sought practitioners of alternative medicine wherever I live. There is a level of trust I find to be of utmost importance. Dr. Hunter has topped out in that department! Dr. Hunter Peterson and his team have been outstanding in providing me with the individualized assessment, treatment, and kindness I seek. I have experienced and believe in the advantage that Dr. Hunter’s multi-faceted training and the array of diagnostics and treatments he offers. Further, I see as an advantage that he can and does coordinate with other providers as necessary for a patient’s complete healing. I write this with much gratitude. Thank you, Healing Arts CDA.

Coeur D'Alene Healing Arts is well known in this town for their passion and active attention in taking care of their patients. I have been a patient there for 4 years under Dr. Mia Grotham's care. CDHA has been my clinic to go to when I cannot get the help with the Western medicine doctors at Kootenai. If it had not been for Dr. Mia and the team at CDHA; I would not be where I am today. Sadly my doctor at Kootenai never liked naturopathic medicine; didn't approve of it. If only western medicine could work together with naturopathic medicine, and our insurance companies agreed; we might be in a better place today. I love the staff and doctors at CDHA! - They love what they do and it shows.

Really disappointed in CDA Healing Arts: A friend of mine had recently started working with a provider to get through some chronic health conditions and addiction problems. Unfortunately he had a short relapse and when he told the doctor office about this, they immediately discontinued him as a patient. It’s incredibly sad that so many doctors are discriminatory toward people with addiction struggles, as there are many of them who genuinely want to change their ways and get healthy. I feel even worse because I’m the one that recommended CDA Healing Arts to him and I told him that he would receive a more attentive plan to get him healthy than traditional doctors. Definitely got that one wrong! I’m so glad I’m no longer a patient at this place.
