Sharon and Bongo are amazing hosts- so welcoming to their lovely house and apartment. Very thoughtfully kitted out, comfortable beds and large rooms with all the equipment you need in the kitchen and a lovely bathroom, open plan kitchen and sitting room overlooking an outdoor seating area. A fantastic salt water pool overlooking their gardens and orchards. A short drive from Lanjaron the views were incredible. Bongo is a chef and you can arrange for him to cook excellent food. We enjoyed dog walks locally and further afield and some
Great yoga and circuit classes with them both. Can’t wait to re book for next summer

Amazing hosts Sharon & Bongo with their lovely dogs. The evening meal was exquisite prepared by Bongo who is a chef. The pool was fantastic surrounded by beautiful views of the mountains & olive trees. A nice place to spend a couple of days

It is a long way up to Casa Del Bienestar and I would advise choosing your vehicle carefully as the road disintegrates to a rough track. However the up side of that is the pleasant surprise when you go through the gates into a perfect driveway with tidy gardens and a pristine pool, which was very much appreciated after a day hiking. The air is clean, the water is lovely, filtered from a natural spring, and it is quiet. Despite that far away feeling it is only a steep but very do-able 30min walk into Lanjarón where good food and drink are easily found. The apartment is clean, attractive with a good kitchen, good bed, quality bedding and a powerful shower with lots of hot water.
We were invited on a walk with the owners, who took us to a lovely spot that we would never have discovered on our own. We were also fortunate to be invited to diner and as the owner is also a chef the food was top notch.
Casa Del Bienestar has a little more to offer as Sharon is amongst other qualifications a body therapist and yoga instructor. She has a purposely prepared room that we were allowed to use for stretching out and recovery exercises. Yoga and massage is also offered here.
I would recommend this place particularly for cyclists. The location is ideal and both owners are very knowledgeable about the area. Who wouldn’t want a stretch, a cool dip, a decent meal and a massage after cycling up a mountain.
There are 2 well behaved dogs on the property that did not encroach on our space without invitation.

I stayed 4 nights with Sharon and Bongo at Casa del Bienestar on a 3-day horseback riding-trekking organized by Caballo Blanco. Sharon and Bongo are such good hearted people and with their 2 lovely dogs, they were the perfect hosts. They made me feel right at home. Their house is beautiful and authentic, with all comfort provided. Everything was clean and tidy. The shower is great, very important if you are having an active holiday. I would recommend to get their food services, just delicious! As a bonus, they use their own olive oil and bake their own bread ? Even the soap in the bathroom is organic. The perfect place for an active and sustainable getaway. The surroundings have so much to offer so if you have the chance to stay multiple nights, I can only recommend it. I will repeat for sure! Thank you for the amazing stay.

Stayed here as part of my Caballo Blanco horse riding holiday - so the accommodation and food were included. If you stay here you won’t be disappointed if you opt for the meal option as one of the owners is a chef and can tailor for dietary needs. They go out of their way to use local produce. The apartment is beautiful with incredible views. The kitchen really does have a wide range of cooking utensils and is immaculately clean. Don’t forget to pick up groceries before you get here though if you are self-catering and do arrive before sunset as the road is quite narrow and rustic in parts - worth it for the peace and quiet! Lots of walks, straight from the house! The owners have good ideas for how to spend your time in the area too - just ask!

Great place up in the mountains
Immediately felt like home.especially for dog lovers.Great food .great walks.amazing view..and very nice hosts from Schotland
