I had a very pleasant experience with Michaela.
I’ve been in a lot of pain after injury and waiting for PT was no longer viable. I had to pay out of pocket but her services were definitely appreciated. I definitely recommend the 90 min as long as you get there on time you can get a whole 70-80 minutes of uninterrupted service. I had deep tissue, hot cupping, stretching, foot massage, head massage, calf and hip (was the most intense) but very helpful with the stiffness and soreness and muscle aches. Thank you! I would recommend her but there’s also other options if needed.

My first visit was this past afternoon with Ann. I am currently almost 30 weeks pregnant and this would be my first prenatal massage ever. I AM SO PLEASED WITH MY EXPERIENCE. I was nervous walking in as I’ve never had a professional massage at all before and she made sure to make me feel comfortable and relaxed, asking subtle questions throughout to get to know me and my body. The environment is very clean, mostly quiet, smells amazing, bathroom is clean and got into the room 2-3 minutes after entering the building. Not to mention, I was running a little bit late due to a prior obligation and traffic and was accommodated by 15 minutes.

During the massage, I ended up being so relaxed (more than I’ve been in years) as I work in healthcare, am already a mother to an evolving adventurous toddler and am waddling around, have had a lot of previous injuries and body strain over the years- I almost fell asleep multiple times, which in an unknown environment would never happen for me. I feel as if this proves my point as a very busy, usually high strung person.

All of my problem areas were focused on especially my round ligament pain I’ve had since my first pregnancy with my left hip, right after the massage I was able to stand, bend over, get in the car and walk without as much pain immediately. Was met with water in the lobby immediately after my session and wasn’t rushed out at all. Laying, sleeping that night and getting up to go to the bathroom, no pain at all. I feel as if my baby is also more relaxed, with more room to stretch out and explore as well since my body is no longer as tight and heavy feeling. Still a very healthy amount of activity as well. I’m very impressed. Immediately booked my next session and plan to continue to come up until delivery and plan to most likely return periodically after postpartum. So appreciative and feel it was a reasonable amount of money, well spent . Thank you so much. A real gem to come across!

What an experience! I booked a custom massage and was assigned "Ann" (who was absolutely kind, caring, and just wonderful). She took the time to find out my needs (I had a lot of upper back/neck pain with stiffness), and then explained everything she would do.
She incorporated warm stones and cupping into the massage, and she carefully glided the cuppings in order to ensure they didn't bruise my skin. It all felt so good, and went so smoothly that I fell asleep, and all the pain subsided. I'd had the pain for so long that I still (a week later) cannot believe it's all gone.
Afterwards, she brought me water, and informed me about the center's "relaxation room" that has foot massager, tea, etc. And you can hang out and spend as much time as you'd like.
The Buffalo Holistic Center is one of my new "happy places", and I will be partaking at least once a month, on a regular basis. This place is so serene, warm,and inviting; and the entire staff is super friendly and attentive.
