I have been going to Mark Read for many years for treatment of various injuries/chronic pain. He and his abilities are truly sent from above. I've had physical therapy services many times throughout my 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's - four knee surgeries, lower back surgery, and two shoulder surgeries. I can say without hesitation that the staff at Athletic Advantage are absolutely the BEST I've experienced. The entire practice is based in social/emotional awareness and intelligence. They are warm, professional, welcoming, and each therapist is an active listener willing to answer all questions.

Let me also add that Fauzia is a superstar PT. Her advanced knowledge of counter-strain and myofascial release techniques is unparalleled. She has made the recovery process from my Acromion-Clavicle Tightrope surgery a pleasant, easy, and healing experience. If I require PT services in the future, Athletic Advantage will be my only consideration.

I feel privileged to be able to go to Athletic Advantage for a long-standing issue with my neck. I am getting lasting pain relief and am so encouraged that Mark's techniques realign the vertebrate and then begin to work on the muscular problems surrounding the spine. This office has a totally different approach to PT- the first place I went was "do this exercise and I'll check back with you in a few minutes" and they charged twice as much. Mark and his team of PT’s are like no other I’ve ever been to before. The myofascial release technique provides a deep therapy that seems to stimulate healing better than traditional PT. I obtained almost 180 degrees of rotation within 8 weeks of rotator cuff repair, including 4 weeks of immobilization. Highly recommend.

DEFINITELY NOT YOUR ORDINARY PHYSICAL THERAPIST!!!
After having lower back, hip and sciatic pain for years, I was ready to do almost ANYTHING for relief. I tried physical therapy elsewhere with no tangible results. So I went to Athletic Advantage. Mark quickly diagnosed my problems and we went to work. Mark compared me to a knotted ball of yarn that needed to be unraveled. Even though I eventually had to have back surgery for what I discovered was a genetic back problem, Mark has helped me to tremendously lessen my pain and strengthen my body. Coming to grips with this genetic back problem has been difficult both physically and emotionally; however with Mark’s steady encouragement and coaching, I am now on the road toward creating a pain free life. Since my pain is now diminished by about 85-90%, I KNOW I’ll get there!! The professionalism and pursuit of excellence of Mark and his staff are unmatched, and I can only express my profound appreciation for their hard work on my behalf. THANK YOU MARK AND STAFF!!
