We built our home with Selkirk. We’ve been in it four months now and I’ve had a few things we’ve had to get fixed. Matt Fraizer has been extremely helpful always responding to my texts and arranging for the contractors to come and do the service . This was my first time building a new home, and it got a bit stressful Selkirk . The Selkirk team was always there, holding our hands and assuring us things will get done. We love our home!

Everyone I know who built a home has shared how stressful the process it. I can honestly say building a home with Architerra was a joy! They guided me through every step of the process and really made me feel like they had my best interests in mind. Carri made the design and selection process fun and easy, she has amazing taste! The professionalism and workmanship is top notch and only exceeded by exceptional project management. Ed with the warranty team has taken care of me before and after closing and is fantastic to work with! I have an amazingly beautiful and quality dream home all thanks to Architerra. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

We've had an exceedingly poor experience with Architerra. We purchased the house while it was being framed and they refused to even move/add a single outlet, 0 customizations were allowed. After the house was finished and AFTER we signed papers, our pods were being delivered (we were out of state moving in) and Architerra turned our pod delivery away, physically blocking the driveway and threating towing and a lawsuit if they dropped our belongings (even in the PUBLIC street) because the city had yet to record the signing... which happened 30 minutes later, causing us to not have our belongings for over 2 weeks thanks to re-delivery. Extremely unfriendly and hostile to us and our delivery drivers. After this, we had numerous warranty issues with our house, many of which were NEVER fixed and it's been 3 years. They were unresponsive the entire warranty period, rarely took responsibility despite my many requests. Additionally, the HOA here is a joke... it's more than doubled with 0 annual meetings (as required by their agreements) in 5+ years. No one can explain the $ increase. All we have is some shared grass space and walkways. Our dishwasher broke in less than a year and leaked everywhere - they took over a month to even replace it, pointing fingers at the sub-contractor like everything else under "warranty". Our oven broke and still doesn't work right, our new dishwasher is terrible, our microwave peeled, our floors are cracked and broken everywhere, the drywall work shows seams, the windows won't lock, the windows don't block sound, our siding cracked and much of it wasn't painted OR caulked, the trim inside has butt joints everywhere, the stair railing is loose, the ceilings are cracked, no water softener, our sprinklers were placed too low, our irrigation valve leaked, our driveway is coming apart ($$$$$) etc etc etc. Some of this has been fixed but much of it hasn't. I regret buying an architerra house and would never recommend them, their service is poor, they have been slow to honor their "warranty" if at all, they didn't increase their quality at all with the price increases, and they refused to allow any customization, acting like we should be eternally grateful to them for selling us a house. We've purchased 3 new houses in our lifetime, this one is easily the worst experience with the most problems, and the most expensive. Additionally, I can't believe the amount of positive reviews they have. I've heard mostly complaints, disappointments, and regrets from my neighbors around me with the service and quality.

I wouldn't purchase another architerra home. Cheaply built and a lot of issues. Warranty guys will just tell you the issues are because your house is "settling". I had an independent inspection and the inspector said it was the worst new home he has ever seen. Not sure if there are better companies out here for track homes but architerra isn't a good one.

I can’t not say enough positive things about my experience purchasing new construction with Architerra Homes. It’s no secret that the home buying process can be super overwhelming but Tina worked closely with my realtor to ensure the deal went through with ease. Once the offer was accepted, Jeff walked me through the closing and warranty process, providing helpful tips on maintenance and quickly addressing my concerns. I would highly recommend Architerra, they are a great team and I love my home!

Update 2025. Still love the home, but HOA fees have gone from $33/monthly to $50 and this year $65!! There is NO explanation or responses, There seems to be no rise of expenses per their posted projected budget numers. . All HOA meetings were voted to be private and not open to homeowners who pay. Architerra needs to address this part of their HOA to help their image. We are all asking for transparency for about a 25% yearly increase.
Update 7/26/23 I am happy to say at 5 mo.s, we have had all our concerns addressed and most repaired. We closed at the end of February, so it was a while for the weather to allow painting and siding fix-its on our closing documents. Summer is busy for the builder, but the key was Jeff has always responded respectfully. He is very busy but willing to work with the owners. We have a cabinet left to fix and that is about it. We can do some of the little stuff ourselves. We had sprinkler backflow fixed, painting, siding, a few trim bricks that fell off, but all fixed. Grateful they use Pella windows as they have been very good addressing issues too. The last thing or two will go on the one year review.

I was somewhat nervous reading the reviews, but I have to say the house has been great. Jeff (responds to warrantee or issues) has been very helpful. There are the usualy "Fix its" but seems that they are willing to do it. We have things to be corrected in the warm weather so will post updates. So far, happy 🙂
