I came to this store to purchase a sconce that I could plug into the wall. Joseph helped me so much and even spliced this light to be able to plug in. Very affordable place, easy to install, and amazing products.

I came here in November and December 2020 to get a light fixture for my living room and then my bathroom. The staff was unbelievably helpful and knew exactly what I was looking for. The light fixture I wanted for my living room was the last one they had (display model) and the staff member (I forget his name) took down the light fixture, gave me a discount since it was a floor model, and painstakingly wrapped it and put it in to a custom box so I could take it home with little hassle. When I came back for the bathroom light, the same man helped me find one that matched the style of my living room light. I highly recommend coming here for all your light fixture needs, they have a great selection of standing lamps as well.

I would highly recommend A&E Bowery Lighting. I've shopped in many of the lighting stores in "the lighting district" and A&E is a standout because of its very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Hi HIGHLY recommend A & E Bowery Lighting - Joseph (goes by Tony) was so helpful selecting the right fixture for maximum lighting. - I have very high ceilings and need the most light for the hallway leading to the kitchen. He also helped me to pick out the right track lighting for the bedroom. He held my purchases for over 2 weeks since I was traveling and had them ready for pick up and all packaged neatly for me. You have MANY choices on the Bowery go HERE!

The two workers or the owners here are very rude. Yelled at my son for helping me switch on a light fixture. Don't shop here. They judge you the moment you walk into the store.

Walking around the bowery, A&E has some of the nicest fixtures around at a fair price. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I purchased a pendant light a few months ago but couldn't install it right away. When I went to hang it, the light needed some adjustments and A&E told me to just bring it down and they could help which they promptly did. I now have the light up and love it. If you're looking for nice, fairly priced lighting, with excellent knowledgeable staff, look no further than A&E.

We were looking for a specific lighting fixture for our bathroom. We looked at many places. We went down to the Bowery to see what lighting stores were still open. Few were and most were grim. Then we walked into A & E Bowery lighting. Their stock was fully up to date with excellent LED choices. Moreover, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and really knew their products. Price was great and the quality was very high. Couldn't find a lighting store that could hold a candle to them.
